Life is so so so beautiful when you are doing something you like and enduring it. You can end up spending whole days in the things you do. This is the same for everyone else. You become so energetic and totally forgotten about the tiredness and time. You simply become extremely focus on the things you are doing at that specific moment.
I’ve been spending time going down to get the PDA phone screen a screen protector, at the same time. However, that was done only after my hunt for some Jazz albums.
I spot the Diana Krall’s The Girl In The Other Room and Stacey Kent third collection albums. They just sounds like heaven to me. But to my surprise, Stacey Kent’s vocal just doesn’t match her face. Omg, can I say it’s a cute and juicy vocal? Lol.. I don’t really know how to describe the voice of someone that well. Maybe some of you might be able to help me on that.
I took out my X-cans V1 with the D421SP sports portable CD player (Discman if you want to call it so), linked up two of them with a Monter Interlink 400 RCA to Mini cable. And then plug in my Audio Technica ATH-A500 headphone jack to the headphone out of X-cans.
I just like the vocal of Jazz, I don’t know why. And yes, I like orchestra performance pretty much too. Just that I myself haven’t have the chance to get a ticket and sit down there enjoying the live performance yet. I would like to do it at least once in my life time with my love one. I don’t feel that I should miss this chance. I just want to make sure I know how a live performance sounds to me compared to the music come out from a hi-fi or even a head-fi system.
Wow, I think I’m really enjoying Jazz, Orchestra and Classical pretty much. They just sound so nice to me. I can now enjoy the music to the fullest even though the system contains certain flaws (or you can call it incompleteness) though they are not that significant to you. I just find that something still need to be done and yes, that is my pcdp. I would need to get a decent CD player sooner or later. I would love to have that to make my head-fi setup complete. Then from there I would slowly upgrade my cans (headphones) and not the CD player and headamp, unless they have reached the age of retiring.
Ok, meanwhile, I have downloaded and installed a software that installed PHP, MySQL and Apache together and configured them properly for you without having you to do the settings on your own. And it works perfectly for me! I can start doing my PHP stuff on my own laptop now! I can do follow through what taught by the books and learn and master my PHP scripting from today onwards.
I think I would need to put my focus on Java after I have finish everything inside the books and managed to come out with something, especially making use of PHP to come out with my website and upload to my domain and webspace. At least, I would have my site fully functioning. Then, I would be able to slowly update it regularly. Then I will move on with Java. That is the next thing I’m going to achieve.
But I’m still struggling for whether I want to carry on with getting professional certs or just further my studies in a university on part-time basis. But I think that one would really depend on how good I am in various areas. If I’m finding myself comfortable with my job, most likely I will work towards that area and better horn my skills and equip myself with related knowledge, therefore, be it degree or professional certs, I would definitely go for it. But of course, I need to save up for marriage and a house too. Don’t you feel that having a house of your own is good for settling down and move on with other things?
At least you still have a sweet home to fall back if anything else failed to work for you! Make sense right? No? Think about it first before you answer me. Yes, different people might have different ideas and focus on their lives, but trust me my friend, you would definitely preferred to have your own house before you embark on something else. You would come to realise the importance of owning a house of your own. Slowly, even though you do not sense or see the needs now.
Alright. I think enough of my ranting now. Time for a break and enjoy my music ![]()

Recently has been back to my head-fi hunt. I’ve been enduring in what I’m doing now for a few weeks. Had purchased in some CD albums worth listening to. Inger Marie Gundersen’s Make This Moment is worth listening for long hours. Planning to purchase Diana Krall’s latest album too. Had sampled her tracks in the album on Amazon.com and quite like them.
Now, I’m slowly adapt back to the head-fi hobby. I slowly pick up a better discerning skills and of course, the most importantly, to enjoy the music, good music, then good recording and quality.
Will try to save up to upgrade my current rigs while saving up for the other things like house and marriage. Well, I definitely need a better paid job so that I can better manage my fund and work according to my plan.
Nothing much to be said now. Music music with my preferred headphones, head-amp, and a decent CD player preferably. Till then, save up!

Never watched the final match for the World Cup but I’m pleased that my favourite Italy has won the World Cup 2006. I think first penalty as well as the first goal in the first half for France is still quite disputable as it doesn’t seems to be an obvious foul over the camera and the audiences.
Alright, what they did will get the retribution. Italy got second goal gracefully. Serious speaking, I don’t like people to score a goal by penalty. That is not skillful tackle, just penalty way of ball tackling. And the penalty for France is quite disputable too! Those France fans would say the penalty is a correct decision, but to those independant fans who are not in favour of any team, who just want to enjoy a soccer match would know it clearer.
We should not be biased against any team. Even though our favourite team make mistakes we should not say it’s doing the right things, as it’s obvious for other fans and supporters that they are not doing the right things!
For me, to score in a goal as normal like what the Italian did was a skillful tackle and ball handling. It involved a lot of strategies, tactics, and skill to send a ball into the net. I don’t deny that penalty kick also need skill, but you rely on luck more, as penalty wouldn’t has anyone blocking you from scoring! You are free to make your direction to score, plus some luck! Do you think that by relying on luck itself you can shoot the ball into the net with defenders or players around you? Sorry, not possible!
Well, let’s not talk on that anymore, after all, Italy has won the World Cup 2006. Now back to my own world. I’ve been trying to buy time to learn Flash animation, I find it pretty cool. Though I’m not an art student, but I would like to pick up the animation skills in Flash to create something to show the world, to make it my portfolio. I want to be able to use Flash well. But there is one more area I need to explore in, that is ActionScript.
Without mastering Actionscript, you still a newbie to Macromedia Flash, no doubt that you cannot achieve much things without knowing how to use Actionscript. I would need to spend some time on that area as well as animation part.
I don’t deny that sometime I find myself too greedy. But now I only focus myself on two things, flash as an interest and portfolio, and Go/Weiqi as a hobby. Well, now must plan carefully and make changes accordingly when necessary.
I want to be learn as much as I can, deep in depth and inside out. I don’t want to learn too much but in the end achieve nothing. I rather spend time on one thing at a time and come out with something from there, rather than focus on too many things and lost focus. Yes, you can say by focus on a lot of things, you learn a lot. But do focus on a few things at one time, you can master them properly? People always claim that they can do it, but how many of them actually can?
No, seldom. Normally people focus in one area will achieve something. Those focus on too much and achieve in almost all the areas that he stepped in, that one can be considered a genius. I would say that is a second Leornado Da Vinci. He is really a master of almost everything he laid his hands on. All the masterpiece can be found up to date.
But for me, due to the distractions for this modern world. People have lost focus and they need to try to focus on one or two areas rather than all areas that he shows interests in. By doing so wouldn’t do you much benefits. It harmful to you.
Well, enough of crap. If I continue, people might start to think that I’m a nut. For now, take care and all the best! Haha…
