Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year to all of you, and my ex-students/friends!
How have you been? What’s your resolution this year?
Time really flies and now all the Sec 1 students I have taught before are now Sec 4 students! Wow! All so tall, so handsome, so pretty, so cute, so charming, etc etc..every good things are being seemed on them when I visited some of their blogs today.
I don’t want to disclose their blog address here since I think they don’t want too much noises or intrusion into their private life or privacy? When you’re blogging on the World Wide web, it’s obvious that people can easily digged out more on you, this is especially obvious when you are on Facebook! Okay, back to blogging, thanks to blogger.com, now the bloggers can even hide their blog from public up to certain levels, and people who don’t want too many people to know their blog, they always circulate the blog address/URL among their close friends.
Well, don’t ask me how, but I know one of my students is hospitalized, or was it hospitalized? I hope she can get well soon, ah..poor thing, since Sec 1, I have always been paying attention to her as she has some bandage on her leg or knees. She always says that she’s ok, and will be ok. Now she’s hospitalized, which make me feel so sad about her sufferings. She mentioned about other children warded in the hospital too. Glad that her friends visited her. Get well soon, Ain! Let me pray for you ok?
Oh…talking about my students make me feel older and older. 3 years! It has been 3 years since I know them, oh my god! I really miss them so much! I wish I have time to visit them, they’re leaving soon and moving on to another stage in their life, be it a student or a human beings. Cool! I wish the best of luck for all of you. No matter what’s your new year resolution is, may the Lady Luck always tag along and motivated you whenever possible, helps you wherever/whenever necessary!

Just back from Yishun Library after meeting my customer for project updates and changes, with new requirements. Nowadays, it’s not easy to make side income with projects especially now the economy is not performing well and everyone is tighten up their belts. But well, money always doesn’t come easily, you have to earn it, same for respect, to get respected, you have to earn the respect from everyone, not asking them to respect you. Not that simple!
If people respect you because you’re rich, then forget it, most likely people are scared of you for the money you have, you can use them to make them suffer for as long as you wish. That kind of respect, I would say, keep it for yourself, haha … don’t share with people. That’s not real respect, come on!
Okay, I have to back to work now. Anything, just drop me a message at the shoutbox beside this post, or you can MSN me. Alternatively, write me an email, I check my email everyday! Serious, no joke! But for privacy wise, please be noted that I don’t give out my email address easily.
But for your convenience, I will put it in such a way that you can contact me, just follow the steps below.
Remove the [] and the words within [] from jen[.]son[dot]chew[at]g[.]mail[dot]co[x]m and replace the [.] and [x] with nothing, just remove it will do as [.] represent extra characters to me. then replace [dot] with a full-stop, and replace [at] with the @ which you normally use for like beCareful88@hotmail.com.
After doing all these, you will see my email address, and you can drop me anything and I promise that I will reply you as soon as possible. Do not spread, mind you, else I will get spammed by a lot of people. Imagine everyday logged in to clear the spam, I’m not that free to do all these, haha…
Anyway, I think the free-to-all public Wi-Fi access should be made available as soon as possible and free forever. If you want close to 99.99% Internet penetration, please please please make a public Wi-Fi free then those not afford to get their own one, would be able to access important or relevant information instantly with ease without rushing home to go online, or pay for it. Of course, it won’t affect CyberCafe business as their networks are all high-speed network and normally people pay to surf net and play game, almost unrestricted. So do take my suggestion into considerations for those providing next generation broadband services, and those building up free public Wi-Fi access, and fellow internet service providers.
Cheers!
